The shutter finger had a workout over the weekend, shooting over 3000 photos by midmorning Sunday in a variety of events.

2011 Beachley Classic
Headed up to Dee Why hoping to see Sally Fitzgibbons (@Sally_Fitz) snare her third straight ASP tour victory, but it wasn’t a good day for the Australians with both Sally and Steph Gilmore being knocked out in the Semi Finals.
Young Hawaiian Carissa Moore took the event over Peru’s Sofia Mulanovich.
Moore regained top spot in the ASP World Title rankings, with Sally Fitzgibbons back to 2nd.

NBL Grand Final Game 2: Cairns Taipans vs New Zealand Breakers
Despite the absence of the Hawks, I was able to attend Back-2-Back NBL Grand Finals thanks to a mates win of the iiNet NBL Dream Team competition.
After a slow three quarters, the game turned into a double overtime classic thanks to the clutch shooting of CJ Bruton and Ron Dorsey (twitter.com/RonnyRealNice)
