Summer arrives in Wollongong, GoPro debuts at Port
Late Saturday afternoon, after a week of rain & three weeks of Lake like surf the sun decided to make an appearance in Wollongong.
Like always, when most beaches are sloppy and written off Port Kembla was ready and waiting with non-Wollongong like conditions.

Was hoping for smoother conditions and being lucky enough see some big wave surfing. Not to be, but still and impressive break.

2011 Beachley Classic
Headed up to Dee Why hoping to see Sally Fitzgibbons (@Sally_Fitz) snare her third straight ASP tour victory, but it wasn’t a good day for the Australians with both Sally and Steph Gilmore being knocked out in the Semi Finals.
Young Hawaiian Carissa Moore took the event over Peru’s Sofia Mulanovich.
Moore regained top spot in the ASP World Title rankings, with Sally Fitzgibbons back to 2nd.
