AFL photo debut

Wandered across the road to shoot AFL for the first time, documenting the action in the Illawarra Lions 40th Anniversary game at Thomas Dalton Park. 

After a close three quarters Illawarra Lions dominated the 4th to defeat the UTS Bats 102-66 in the 2011 Sydney AFL Premier Division.

Lions played in one off commemorative jerseys to celebrate the club’s 40th Anniversary.

The shutter finger had a workout over the weekend, shooting over 3000 photos by midmorning Sunday in a variety of events.

First attempt at a music video

Got a call yesterday afternoon seeing if i was interested in filming a video for local musician Jack Dawson’s solo cover of Linkin Park’s “Shadow of the Day.

So last night I pulled out the trusty Canon 7D and Panasonic Lumix pocket point & shooter to grab some footage out in Jack’s back shed.

Despite not being a great audio capturing device, the 7D went ok - except for when the Harley Davidson floored it up Corrimal St.
